Zurich

Download the waste collection calendar for Zurich via this link. Click on "Kalenderblätter 2021..." and find your postcode to get all the information relevant for your area.
In the city of Zurich, the bin bags for non-recyclables, the "Züri-Säcke", are white. You can get them at the till of any supermarket, at various sizes.
And then there is the cargo tram; this is for anything that is too large/too heavy for the white Züri-Säcke. Additionally, there is the e-tram, to which you can bring any electrical items, such as hairdryers, keyboards, etc.
However, this is only permitted if you're on foot, using public transport in general or cycle everywhere. Usually, those points are the final stops of a tram line. It's free of charge, with a few exceptions, such as car tyres.
