Kitchens and bathrooms are normally fully furnished, i.e. white goods are included.

Generally, there are no lamps, except in the kitchen and bathroom.

In apartment buildings, rather than every apartment having its own washing machine, shared laundry facilities usually located in the basement are quite common. Often, there are set washing days for each tenant, or tenants can reserve time slots on a list. In a more relaxed neighbourhood climate, washing days can often be swapped.
